this is going to sound weird too!! do "nostril breathing", close one nostril and breathe deeply in and out of the other one 5 times. then repeat with the other nostril. sounds weird but it works. i wouldn't recommend you do this, however, in full view of the public!! hahaha :D

i tried this whole timing thing in my trials. i found the best way to get even distribution of marks was to stick pretty much to the time they gave. i had an extra 5 mins for section 3 up my sleeve to plan because my story was finished and i had nothing else to say! :p

i liked how on home and away they had the "general english" exam. it went for 3 hours and they had 5 minutes reading time. those poor, poor kiddies in summer bay!! :p
