before the exams start, we get a speech on unauthorised material (everyone does, I assume!) and they warn people of the consequences. how would you feel sitting there listening to that? anyway, it would be nearly impossible to cheat - there's people walking around with spare booklets - too...

hahaha i didn't read both parts of the very first question - went along writing the number with 2 sig. fig. then realising it was scientific notation I smacked my pen against my head!! I was surprised there wasn't a "calculator" question, though!! :)

yeah alphabetical order seems logical.... i'm not far away from Willmaker and mine is 271... but then again it's not far away alphabetically either... :p

one girl at my school missed out on a mark for one of her subs cos of her phone... here's the story: she had waited outside the exam room and was talking to one of the juniors, who was playing with her phone. little did she know that he set the alarm to go off. she turned off her phone...

i'm changing the batteries in mine tomorrow!! don't worry... the head supervisor for our exams brings along a "tool kit" - spare pens, spare calculators and (just in case all the calculators get borrowed) a screwdriver and batteries. i just happened to ask what would happen if our calculators...

i wonder if exam centre numbers are like postcodes... you know how sydney is 2000 and as you get further away, the postcodes' numbers get bigger (or is that just me being dumb??!) for example, deja voux is closer to the city than me?? :o

when something is mentioned that is happening after the hsc (say, a xmas party or something) i start rambling on about how many days that will be AFTER i finish my last exam and how many days BEFORE i get my results. it's quite funny. i think the whole experience affects everyone around you...

wouldn't that suck though, you've done all that work for the year and then you don't have to do it cos of the stupid weather. talk about an anti-climax!! although i do not enjoy exams, i would hate even more to be in that situation!!

i'll be happy if i get over 50%. i just made it for my trial, so i'm keeping fingers crossed. i'll be even happier if my mark turns out to be better, so i guess it's good setting myself up for disappointment in a way... :)
