Re: Semester I 2007 - Chatter Thread! Yeah, I know. At $2.50 an hour for reserve items, I'm almost there already. Thankfully reserve fines are capped at $30 per book, but hopefully I won't have to pay it anyway, since it's a catalogue screwup and not really my fault.

Can I disagree here? I thought that after the first few books it got repetitive and lame. I read all seven books though. And cringed through the last three.

Re: Official Semester 1 Exams Thread I'm trying to motivate myself to study. I've done a bit for history, but as that's a three day take-home I'm not sure why I'm studying for it instead of my sit-down exams. Going in tomorrow to get some books and pick up ARPH and GOVT assessments.

Trying to make generalisations around universities with tens of thousands of students is normally not very successful.

Short answer, from my experience, is no. People at Sydney are just ... regular people. A lot of these rumours and stereotypes about unis tend to be just that, really.
