Actually to all these people who are saying Sydney is the only uni recognised overseas, you are quite wrong. It is actually ANU that is recognised worldwide, if you mentioned Usyd to an academic overseas, they'd have no idea about it. But having said that, its time to get over it. You're there...

Yeah I printed past papers from the net, along with the Ext Hist souce book (500 pages) and lots of random stuff for different assignments....the wonders of a laser printer ay ;)

yeah they aren't past papers cos the excel book was written in 2001. But yeah, when you're doing practice q's, try to concentrate on the ones that are in the format of HSC questions, cos if you practice HSC questions over and over it will make a HUGE difference during exams...

suz, I don't get it. For LLB100, it says you attend 1 lecture and 2 tutes per week. There is only on lecture, but on the website how do you know which are the different tutes (ie there are several of each of them, how do u know you aren't doubling up?)

Yeah when you get there you line up in Surname groups and they give you your personal timetable, then you go to a session in the big auditorium where they try to sell the uni to you, and then you go and have something to eat and attend some lectures, then lunch and a few more, then home.

Don't stress bout getting your prefs, they don't take rolls or anything and they are nowhere near full so you can really turn up to any one you want (or just not go at all!)

You're in debt, they take any money and assets you have to pay it off (I don't think they can take stuff off your family though). And no, you don't pay interest on HECS but they do adjust it according to the CPI (inflation)
