Like I said, there are two axis, one may be sacrificed to the prominance of the other. Also, moderate left and moderate right are still left and right. Putting people in categories will always upset those on the borderlines but it is a convenient heuristic for how balanced this place is.

Yes that's the problem, the harder people to classify are conflicting on different axis (economic/social) Everyone should take the test at political compass then we'd have a better view.
