Nope. If you have it 6th and its the first one you can get into, and they have it 1st and they can get into it, you will both be offered that course. They won't give the person with it 1st first preference, it's done by UAC not the Unis so there is no bias to the people that prefer somewhere else.

As with any previous Maths paper, you skip things you can't do and then come back and do them (although, I didn't always listen to that advice myself).

I was top 4 in everything except english and kept 12. It's up to you, I just felt safer with a back-up.

Late round and final round just add some low cutoff courses and stuff. Also, you get your ATAR a little under a month before you last change preferences before main round so you can change them before then. Also, 95 ATAR subs won't swap to 99 that quick.

commerce at USyd? This is true for a B Psych More established and shit, yet you're saying that isn't better? Also, you realise they refurbish rooms and buildings every now and then? At USyd you don't have to drop down to science if you don't want honours you just graduate with advanced Maths...

Standard cos curve but: Amplitude becomes 2 because A is just the coefficient before the cos. And then it shifts to the left by pi/4 because it's got "-pi/4" in the brackets. Yay.

20+ I think usyd is harder than other unis (why did I come here?!) 8th in CHEM1901 first sem was 84 apparently (not even HD) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Chemistry and physics are completely different. I got ~90 in HSC Chemistry and got 66 in CHEM1901. I didn't do HSC Physics and got 64 in PHYS1001...

My WAM is 69. Lol
