How do you guys manage to fit it all in these short responses. I haven't seen our assignment sheet but I have seen previous assignments and they average around 30 pages of almost non-stop typing. It may be double spaced but that's still a hell of a lot more than 2000 words!

Damn I wanted to do 5 units of history, shame I had lots of other subjects I wanted to do too. At our school we have the choice between studying Thucydides or appeasement. I still haven't decided, I prefer Thucydides but I also prefer the teacher who's taking appeasement. Gar!

The trick with the proposal is deciding on an idea. This I did the night before. Somehow I still managed to get 4.5 out of 5 for it and I'm not sure if anyone got full marks. Our teacher is very into giving us feedback and honest assessment rather than marks. Curse her :P

Maybe try a stream-of-conciousness exercise. Simply put yourself in the situation of your main character(s). Work out what your goals are, presumably involving the ending somehow, and work out how you get there. If this doesn't cover the number of words you need add a few extra trials and...

Judging from your last post I'm guessing you have a way to explain/introduce the idea. I wouldn't ask you to reveal this to us but just make sure its perfectly clear so the marker isn't confused or otherwise adversely impacted.

Sound is not completely necessary for film, but its effect is. You will have to find some way to achieve the effect of having sound through an alternate means of expression. This could be through colour/lack-there-of in the video or perhaps through camera movements or textual dialogue/monologue...

I learned that you can actually do an interactive project, most commonly a game. I would recommend against this though as the markers are unlikely to possess the computer skills required to enjoy a video game. Games are also generally looked upon as low art so I would definately avoid this...
