i did accg105.. we had 2 generic skills assignments... some of the tasks were the same as the accg100 unit.... its piss easy.. you don't need tips on how ot write letters/memos do ya? oh and if your stuck for layout, ms word templates are your friends!!

uh at mq, for final year students, you only need 18cp at 300 level.. which equates to 6 subjects... so thats 3 units per semester... i think its different with all uni's..........

i'd say accounting is the most popular.. followed by finance.... this is just my opinion with no stats to back it up!! :p

just curious.. why is an accounting unit posted in the actuarial studies sub forum.. anyways, my 253 tutor said they changed the book from last semester. so you won't be able to use last semesters text...

yeah with MQ you get a guaranteed scholarship.. of up to $3k i think depending on where your going.. plus you can also apply for that OS help. like babez_hamp said, you can borrow $2k, $3k or $5k per semester. you repay it with 20% interest in the same manner you pay your hecs debt.

i'm with oze.. there are no changes so far... but i wasn't looking forward to the acquisition... cuz right now, they don't shape our usage. i'm on the start 300mb plan, and i've never been shaped... now it looks like i will be shaped at 300mb!! :( oh well!

uh uac doesn't usually put up the mid year transfers till around april i think... not all uni's have mid year transfers, and if they do, they don't offer all courses...... you go to mq right? if you do, you can transfer internally sometime after the end of semester....
