    No Study For Hsc

Yeah I think I probably should have done Advanced English (my HSC mark was 83 for Standard) but I guess there's no point in regret. I really only studied quite literally the day before each exam, and I had 4 exams in one week. I think I just couldn't be bothered stressing until I absolutely had...

    offer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it depends on whether it is your first preference. If it is I don't think you can get other offers in the main round. However if say it is your third preference you can still get offers for the other top two preferences in the main round. I think that's how it works.

HOW WEIRD! my UAI is almost exactly the average of my HSC marks

Your both lucky, I wish my UAI was higher than my average! Oh well, I chose subjects that were not that greatly scaled. My average was from 10 units and the other weird thing was I got almost exactly the same HSC mark for each of my subjects (within one mark of each other).

    Flexible Entry

So you can do up to eight different subjects in the first year. That's great since there are so many that I want to check out. Do you decide on your second semester subjects at the beginning of the year or at the end of the first semester. Sorry for all the questions, thanks for your help.

    Flexible Entry

Thank you for your relply's. That's great that they at least give you a chance to see what the subjects are like. So if I do four subjects in the first semester, do I have to continue with the first four subjects in the second semester or can I do four new ones. Thanks

    2004 Cut-offs

I have applied for Bachelor of Arts at Usyd. In 2002 the cutoff was 80.05 and in 2003 it was 83.25. My UAI is 83.65, so do you think I have a chance of getting in, or due to government funding etc will the cutoff be raised substantially higher? Thank you to anyone that can reply.

    2003 UAIs

UAI Well all the predictions were leaning toward mid to high 80's so I was a little disappointed by my UAI. But I have to say that I am still happy with what I got. 83.65 Congrats to everyone for finishing their HSC! And to those who got into the 90's. Well done
