I'd say 4 - 6 weeks for him, about the same as Carl Webb's incident. It came pretty close to being a king hit I think, not close enough like Danny Williams a few years ago on John O'Neill. He was out cold the second he connected. I just never really liked Smithy, he tends to bring players in...

At the rate Malceski is going, he's a pretty decent chance of atleast making the top 3. Kirky showed that in 2003 behind Goodes, Buckley and Ricciuto so there's no saying who could come close at the very least to winning this Brownlow. Goodwin last year did absolutely crap in the polls yet he...

Brian Smith's always had run-in's with players during his coaching tenure and its shown at the Dragons and Eels. It's no surprise you've got so many players wanting to leave, especially after he told Newton that he wasn't needed for next season. What's up with the fella's team selections? Loves...

I thought it was a typo when I saw the news article on Sportal. That's absolutely shameful on the Knights' behalf even WITH the players they were missing. A credit to the Broncos. They're definitely back. The wonders second-phase plays and throwing around the ball makes, they've gone away from...

Jeez that looked bad. That's the end of him for the rest of the season.

I think Bedsy is a little overrated and this has been proven ever since the absence of Johns recently though I could be wrong seeing as he still needs to string a few games together and perhaps get on a roll. Give Farah a go and he will prove that he can do it on the big stage but judging by...

Willie had a hamstring strain and I've still got question marks over their option to take Hindmarsh off after 20 odd minutes of play. Wonder what Murray was saying during half time... QUEENSLANDER!

Apparently Halligan's been teaching Hayne and he's been putting it over the sticks from 60m out. I'd like to think he's the possible goal kicker. =)

I think that's a factor but I think being coached out of it is another thing. Playing some of these talented players in their non-preferred positions or in a set side of the field can have some serious effects on their ability to show their talents.

Agreed. However, I just think these days where defense is so dominant, players are coached into playing a team game more so than showing their individual brilliance though I'm not against it but you now see the likes of Sonny Bill nowhere near as dominant and dangerous as when he first burst...

That's pretty much what I mean but in terms of being coached out of their instincts, it's pretty much an indirect effect of playing to a heavy gameplan based on the emphasis of team brilliance rather than individual brilliance. Look at the Eels game against the Cowboys on the weekend and you'll...

It was counting time-on as well. So it was only 25 minutes of actual play.

adders, I think right now would be a good time to shut up. Swans just clinically disposed of Port Adelaide - Tredrea went missing and Lade was outclassed by Spida and Jolly emphatically. Both Cornes brothers were well held and O'Loughlin has found form kicking 4 goals under his name. Despite...

Out of form they may be! But players stand up during representative games because during club games, players are coached out of playing on instinct and so you see plenty of players not showing their talents. In Origin, they are permitted to let loose a little more than they are at club football.

Anasta is solid and that's what you need in Origin. I don't rate Gidley nearly as much as Anasta and that's because of Anasta's consistency.

I think it'd be rather absurd not to have Anthony Tupou in the squad at the very least considering he plays for Australia. He's one of the most dangerous forwards going around at the moment I reckon, those offloads are very good and I put second phase plays in high regards for attacking teams...

He's a chance I reckon... With the form he's in, he's overshadowing Orford. Whenever he had his hands on the ball instead of Orford, the team had direction and was putting points on the board. As for the Queensland vs NSW backline, both teams are very very even but what sets aside the...

Okay I'm gonna stop playing these little mind games, all I'm saying is that I'd rather that people get their players' names right, it is after all their name. Thought I'd take a light jab at the little error but by all means call him Haynes.
