Its possible to still drag your marks up, assessments only form 50% of the total marks. If you do exceptionally well in the HSC, it may very well drag your UAI up some 5 - 10 points. It won't be easy, but its possible. Depends if you're willing to give it a shot.

Then shouldn't the choice to enter heaven or hell be up to us as well then? Since if we chose to make our own choices and accept the responsibilities in doing so, why should we be 'punished' because 'by chance' we decided to chose a differing path since God gave us the freedom to?

Really? Strange, when i did legal studies laws such as the Minors (Property and Contracts) Act 1970 (NSW) stated it was up to the age of 16. *shrug*

You might want to just get another $20 scientific calculator... a good graphics calculator costs some $200 a piece, and if you're gonna flaunt that around school... i hope you know how to protect yourself :)

Well, if you and your parents are cool with it, whatever we think is irrelevant. Go for it.

Go with your heart, not what others think. If you're truly happy with him, then ignore what anyone else says. If they're really your friends, they would understand and accept your decision ;)

Haha, congrats to all who got interviews, or even reserves! I'm pretty surprised at some of the people who missed out though, there must have been an exceptionally high quality bunch this year o.O But your journey's only begun :P The interview's the big test :D

I usually walk in with a generic prepared essay, just need to tie in with question. In such a case, i'll say about 5-6 pages (50 minutes), or 4-5 pages (40-45 minutes)

They would change because each school teaches the modules at different paces, and maybe even teach one before the other. Besides, the approach taken by teachers in each school towards the modules can be radically different.
