hey does anyone know how we can find out what textbooks we require for this year? like will it be the same as last year? (im talking kurringgai nursing here) lil georgie girl: are there any textbooks we dont really need or should we get all of them? and assuming they are the same ones this...

The orange classes are the ones that are auto-allocated...ie. the ones u must go to and cant change. yes thats how u check ur timetable, but the full one wont be up for another week or so, until they process all the people and class times etc. my timetable would look just like urs at the moment...

hey i started doing it last year, was only in the course a few months and therefore bought all the textbooks and they they are all completely brand new, unused ...so if ur looking for the books let me know and i can sell you tehm cheaper than full price!

u can only pick ur times. i think you start selecting your own subjects (like everyones will be different depending on what they want to specialise in) in third year

No def dont join the student union. its a rip off and bascailly noone's in it. there are all sorts of places to get cheap textbooks. websites/second hand shops and there are usually a lot of posters ppl put up at uni advertising their selling of old books. its prob best to wait till classes...

hey! i am hoping to get into kuringgai uts for nursing. cant wait. i should be fine, but i also applied for ANU, Syd uni, and UWS parra just to make sure

sydney uni only offers master of nursing and u must do it as a combined degree with something else, either arts , science or health science degree. as if youd want to be at uni that long that would be terrible i hope i get into uts when i check my offers. i cant wait. im going to kurringgai...

it doesnt matter how smart you are, its not necessarily reflected in ur uai. its just memorising and rewriting stuff

they have one that looks similar in some cheap $2 shop at wynyard station. its out the front on display i think it was $20 or something

who cares, im sure if you are good enough people will hire you. i know first hand several people close to me (inc. my dad) who didnt even do a degree in anything business related and are highly successful. it all comes down to talent, attitude and skill. sure u can get a massive head start doing...

why dont u aim for a higher UAI if ur doing ur hsc next year? trust me it will be a HELL of a lot easier if you're wanting to get into those types of courses, if at all.
