Mitochondrial DNA was on the syllabus under the 2nd dot point with karyotype analysis the only thing that put me off was how to perform the analysis so i just talked bout dna-dna hybridisation and observiing microscopes.... It was a pretty good paper though

Yea dont worry we flciked through this whole section so we could get it done b4 the trials and ended up learning the entire topic 4 on our own, we didnt even do monetary in class but luckily we'd done it in depth in prelim so wasnt too bad... I think these teachers shouldve planned better...

I went to this lecture day at the City one, and by the end of it i was all eco'd out! It was good cause alot of the stuff stuck and sorta helped with revising but it was like economic overload

Yea there should def be more than 4 pracs if ur doing HSC chem, we've done like 15 pracs during the entire HSC course and overall bout 30+ since prelim.... u should def ask ur teacher bout that

yea the paddlepops lol i had one for breakfast at like 10 in the morn lol But all that free stuff was gone by the end of the day, when we ended up coming back, still UTS has confirmed my choice of where i wanna go next year :)

haha lol yea the free stuff was way better at UTS than at USYD, syd just felt too big with too many ppl, UTS felt more welcoming lol

Yea today was really good, i thought UTS was excellent ppl were really friendly. USYD was pretty good except for my course UTS is appealing way more, however syd is really pretty lol It was really good to be walking round these uni's and knowing that hopefully next yr we will be at them
