Umm...I think you can do a certain number of non science credit pts for first year in the BSc-Psych. Not exactly sure how many though. In 2nd and 3rd year you should be able to pick from wherever as most of your units will already be PSY anyway. Try looking up your degree rules at www.cal.mq.edu.au

Dude. I don't think you should go into a subject with such intentions. The marker will spot that and punish your work....and u actually wanna go for chicks who do woman's studies?? Eek. MAS or CUL is a safer bet. :)

Contracts blows. Crim on the other hand was great, though I'm not sure how it'll be after last year's convenor left for a new job in the UK mid 2004. Still, expect to be taken out of your comfort zone (transvestite rape law, guys nailing each other's testicles to walls, u know..the usual).

Make sure you at least give it the full year. So many people drop out during/after Jurisprudence when really its actually the philosophy of law, not law. It'll get more black-letter in second semester. Subjects this year for me: Sem 1 LAW405 Remedies LAW407 Labour Law LAW428 Trade...

After a year at USYD, and with you being in B Arts (Advanced) (which has a UAI cut-off close to 99!) I'd say no...there's no hope. You're over to the darkside. Still, it's good you're gonna get a taste of MQ this year.

But why would you encourage a first-year student to do 15 credit pts in a semester?!? The academic advisors will tell you the same. From what I gather, the App Fin part of the AppFin LLB degree has a lighter load in 200-level units so it should be no problem squeezing it in there.

Yeah I know... "make amends". Hmm generally though once people get here they embrace the club macness within, so maybe there's hope for that person yet..
