i'm pretty sure that the comp rooms are located in the e6a building... as for printing, you have a quota of 10 pages. the printer in room110 is out of toner and i wasted 3 pages!! :( LOL

i got home at 10.30PM on monday!! it was a pretty ok day, except comp15 was pointless, i think thats the 3rd class i've sat in which covered something on computer history... :( the comp115 tute was pointless as well, copy some code and thats it... oh whats with the ics email address?? why do...

i just got another email address from the ics dept... its s(studentnumber)@icq.mq.edu.au and its not at all linked to the mq email... whats with all the different emails and login's? its very confusing!!

so are all the lecture slides on the stat170 cd? is the cd practically the study guide, but in cd form? if it is, then can i borrow the cd off someone? save me from buying that study guide!!

actually they start you out pretty easy in the first few weeks.... so maybe it won't be that bad!!

hey i paid on friday as well... but at around 9am... spent around 5 mins waiting in line!! the queue at around 1pm was a shocker!!

do what juggernaut says if your that worried about being bombarded with knowledge!! :p .. maybe take on a small course load.. instead of 4 units in first semester, try only 3...

oh wait.. now i got one! LOL.. bring a print out of the email for evidence? isn't that a bit too much? i would laugh if they were going to check all 500+ (how many seats does the W5B.MACTH hold?) students... :p

did you get an invoice/receipt number at the end? as for the unenrolment thing, i'm not sure if its the same at macq, but i haven't paid my usyd student fees and of course there was that disclaimer saying if youd on't pay by such and such your enrolment will be cancelled. of course i haven't...

actually the uni's use the same system as usyd and uws. unsw uses just numbers. my usyd one was ggar4519@mail.usyd.edu.au, but you could put down email alias to make it easier to remember, like gregg@student.usyd.edu.au.....

LOL... sounds good.... i didn't know it was for 1 hour of travel before uni and 2 hours after .. hmmm... it takes me 2 hours to get to uni one way, so i guess i'm breaking the rules there...

its your own personal email... you use it for anything.. i used my usyd email to send and recieve assignments when in the lab... LOL also the uni uses it to contact students... with notices and stuff... just wondering if we can make email alias's? at usyd i was...

first year uni economics is like the hsc year 12 course. :) thats how i managed to pass doing minimal work!! :p the 4 essays sound usual for an economics subject, they'd probably expect at least 1 A4 for each in 2 hours!! which is manageable!!

you just go to the student centre and on one of the stands there they have private bus concession forms. you just fill it out, and take it up to the counter to get it stamped. they don't check your timetable or nothing, i put all bs on the hours i need. and it depends on the bus company...
