    yes you can combine e-commerce eng with commerce. actually its recommended that you do both degrees if you want to work in the e-commerce industry. as for which type of engineering you should do, do whatever interests you... LOL... most first year engineering students do the same core first...

    oh yeah sorry. i didn't read it properly. it says ECON110 is a coreq with MATH123-136. so i guess you are allowed to do them both in first semester!!

    enrolment fees?

    $189 for full time PER SEMESTER $128 for part time PER SEMESTER. this money usually goes to the union and helps fund the clubs and societies.

    you can do all subject changes online regardless of what faculty the subjects are from. well thats for the non-advanced classes.

    as far as i know for the BIT, you should of made yoru subject selections during enrolment. the first year of your degree is pretty broad and similar to those of the b. comp sci and tech students. according to page 27 of the science handbook, you should be doing 2 math subjects, software...

    you have to wait till the 16th FEB to be able to change your details online!! thats for all faculties. i'm not sure on how you go about doing adv classes, i think you need faculty permission. i say ring up and check.

    yeah you should of already picked your subjects during enrolment. once you've done that, all you do is pretty much wait till o-week to collect your timetable......

    i did psych in first year.... you study alot of different theories and it isn't dominated my freudian theory. in later years, you get to pick an area (or theorist) to focus on.

    it depends on you and how hard you work in first year. if you enrol in a degree at unsw that your not that interested in, do you think you will be able to get D's and HD's in it to be able to trasnfer? or would you rather stick to the degree you like at another uni, do considerably better...

    compSci or IT?

    IT has more of a mangement and leadership focus in it, where as comp sci is focused towards programming. i'd say IT is much more higly regarded in australia (judging by the uai cutoffs at usyd and uts), but in the US, a comp sci degree is much more valued.
