I'm doing it this semester at the moment with Francis Johns.
1. Not really. There's only 1 lecture per week, so content wise - it seems a lot less. The concepts are pretty easy to understand, but they're disjointed at the beginning. Once you get to Sale of Goods and Trade Practices Act, it gets...
As far as I know - generally, law does NOT.
I'm in 3rd year Law/Arts UTS at the moment and I've only ever had class participation marked in Law of Torts, and Federal Constitutional Law.
They were worth roughly 20% each.
Law of Torts was in class participation of answering questions etc...
Try googling some existing analysis and thoughts on the texts. Eg. http://www.sparknotes.com/film/spiritedaway/
That's usually a good starting point to pick up some REALLY basic ideas and build upon it with your own thoughts and evidences from the text.
As posted before, META tags and search engines. But for those you'll probably be listed on the 100+ page.
There's also:
Site listings/databases: Topsites, Glitter, Radical etc.
Plugboards

If you're looking to get a more exact target audience who will...
I loved the exam! It was heaps easy in comparison to last year's. It was really straightforward and the Duchamp's question should have been easy recognizable to ANY art student.
What did you write for the first question about art making practice? I said that he paints outside (directly from...
The questions threw me off guard! I had to make up a creative on the spot for that picture - but it was quite an easy stimulus for RT...if you think of the woman as being Medea-like. I wasn't quite sure what the essay question was asking - prob didn't "evaluate" much.
I only mentioned and...
The question really threw me off because I couldn't understand why the water would be HIGHER nearer to land and LOWER towards the sea....but at the end I just ignored that and wrote A is near the sea (dotted line) and B is near land (solid line).
I didn't mention enantiostatis...only that the...
I think that was in Communications with the micrographs and slides of neurones.
I totally forgot what caused Tuberculosis...so I just put "Pathogen"!
Same here - I wrote it about 3 times....then scratching it out. I ended up writing "onamatapoea" and hoping the markers don't care THAT much about spelling....
It's a risky choice of material because you could get a marker who will mark it as any other text. Or you could get a marker who sees the word "Buffy" and marks you down because they do not consider it a valid sophisticated text. I once got marked down because I used Babe which the teachers...
Woot! *relief*....this MW was so much more "relaxing" in comparison to my 4U-last-minute-unholy-morning-hours work. :D But now its ALL theory for the rest of the term...gah...
@fi_babezy: That's great. I love the detailed work and it took me a few seconds to figure out that there was a man there. I thought that was a nice subtle. I really like the foot - the tendons and the toes. Is it supposed to have "empty" space at the top there?
@Flanney: Interesting! I would...
Woah! Suddenly that $10 mounting sounds so cheap. Ceramics would probably be the cheapest medium of art since schools usually provide the clay for "free"...
I wouldn't say it was exactly cheap...got a quote from several shops: approx $10 for an A4 size drawing! I'm too cheap to be bothered to do that...straw boarding from school and cutting out my own frames with newsagency cardboard.
Lol - my teacher was stressing that we HAD to get...
My teacher said that a backing of normal cardboard isn't good enough - apparently when they look at the work, they put it on an easel like stand. If its on normal cardboard, the drawing will flop over and look kinda flimsy.
We're glueing it with spray adhesive onto these "straw boards" or...
I had a stress attack last night when I realized that I had accidentally written one of the hyperlinks on my website wrong, so it goes to a Cannot Find Page! Had to go through all the pages again and change that TEENY mistake just so it would work.
