It doesn't matter too much about assumed knowledge and the like. If you work consistently over the semester it means nothing.
I did 2U in a 3U assumed course, failed a couple of subjects due to being lazy. But you learn quickly.
I'm going to Brisbane. Already prepping up by sleeping in and going to bed early. I've stopped exercising and stopped the uni work for now.
It will be big :D
Rubbish.
Every single lecturer in second year very much stressed the fact that 'this course is about understanding, not memorising'. I have not needed to remember one formula this year yet.
I'd probably say (at this point of time):
1. Full Scale (best live band ever)
2. Tool
3. System Of A Down
4. Cog
5. Dredg
6. The Butterfly Effect
7. Rage Against the Machine
8. The Mars Volta
9. Kamelot
10. Deftones
But 10 is far too few.......
Yeah, a large part was to do with our teacher too. He was really passionate about it and even though we were at a really poor school we always had a band 6 engineering student.
I did engineering studies in the HSC.
Realised it was in my blood and what my life revolves around.
And now I'm halfway through good old Civil Engineering.
Us engo's usually play a competitive game of daytona if we're up at main campus and coming back. In first semester last year, the blue car's steering wheel was stuffed. In Second semester, there were no problems. Now last semester the problems started arising, no only two of the machines work...
Just came back from Tammworth yesterday. The EUG's are absolutely amazing. One of the best weeks of my life. Nothing else compares to going to bed at 4am then getting up at 7 for 3 games of baseball, finishing at 5pm and starting to drink again at 6.
Love it!
I was waiting for a thread like this to come up...
Playing Baseball for USYD in the EUG's, should be fun. As for the AUG, not too sure yet.
Have no idea on what to expect, has anyone else gone before?
