I think the problem was (and still is) in High School I didn't pay enough time with practicing & understanding, heh.. my maths teacher was pretty scary so.. approaching him wasn't an option back then. Lol
I'll do what you recommended : ) Thanks.
Yes, I'm also one of those people who can't grasp 2u Maths though I wish I could as my dream job is to be a Marine Biologist. I've heard that the course has a good amount of Maths, I'll probably do Gen.Maths or attempt 2U and try get a real good tutor. Though, my friends aunt became a Marine...
Please don't give up. Believe me, you're not alone and you can achieve great things.
If you ever need someone to talk to msg me, I have a similar story and I hope it'll keep you strong. Like mentioned in the above posts, there are other options/pathways into uni. I'm currently doing TAFE but...
I'd go over notes/practice writing responses, especially extended.
But, depends on which subject/topic :I
Try not to leave study/revision till the last minute though, some people can and still ace it.. (coughs) -inserts name-. I envy them ~sulks~
I'm doing the same but at TAFE.
I find it flexible, the amount of work isn't as bad as it seems : P
I think it depends on the individual as for me, I didn't do very well in High School and was pretty much last in every class. I'm now ranked first in 2 subjects, the excluded one being English...
Eh, a little bit of stress building up but not to breaking point. I'm struggling with English(standard), I've received two 65%'s for my assessments and I'm not pleased with it at all :C I'm hoping to push it up to 75%+ since that's what I'd be happy with. I'm doing really well for my other...
Lol, this is pretty much what I learn't today. : P
The way my teacher explained how to find retained profits from a balance sheet extract is to find the missing value.
For example:
Balance Sheet:
(Left Side)
Current Assets...
Personally, I learn best with notes/textbooks. I just do a few notes here and there when the teach says it's important to write it down and maybe a lil extra if I feel it'd be important later on. I simplify it by alot though like... he might say "An increase in profit.. yada yada" Then I'll just...
Honestly, I'm just trying to keep up my attendance as I took a week off due to a bad flu.. cold weather gets to me bad. No more sickies I hope!
I'm doing pretty good in my subjects though I'm a tad stressed about my organization of notes.. some here-some there.. some everywhere! But I'm on it : )
Well, I had my own issues during my HSC year in 2010. I knew they'd notice eventually that I wasn't attending classes or attempting class work, assignments ect. I wasn't okay mentally and physically. I was told to repeat, pathways or seek HSC elsewhere (TAFE) and honestly, I agreed with them...
- Learn to manage time during essays [ I didn't do as well as I would've liked to for english, I had good structure and had prepared but without really managing the time you have, it's hard to put it all down.. ended up making it simple. I passed so, meh. Not gonna beat myself up for it ]
-SOR...
:/ Well, I know this'll sound pretty forward.. but you'll just have to overcome the fear of approaching/rejection and give it a good shot. Starting a conversation isn't as hard as it's thought out to be among many, you can very well start a conversation with a simple " Hey" or " Good Morning"...
Lot's on content, I can relate. Imo, just a matter of understanding and showing that you do : )
I've been trying to improve my approach towards answering questions aswell, my tendency is overwriting/repeating.
I agree with Examine, it's pretty black and white. You'll know the answers and...
LOL! I never thought of it that way, very original.
Thanks, good luck to you too. We'll do uber well ^_^
I'm so devo about my books having water damage was gonna resell but the rain had to be mean :/ That's life for you. Well. I'ma go finish up and get some sleep. TC and have an awesome rest...

Haha, no worries! I liked what you had to say because it's actually true. Yeah, I have an open book essay worth 20% in two weeks for English (Booyah open book : D!) and for SOR, it's an examination, also worth 20%. I guess I'm trying to study earlier rather than later, some people can do it but...
