    ECON1203 Lectures

Perhaps you should try FINS1613 in sem 2 :P

    ECON1203 Lectures

Well you need to respect the fact some LICs are simply not just lecturing, perhaps researching or working with conferences or even take charge with other courses rather than just that one course etc. You also realise not many courses have the same LIC for both semesters.

    ECON1203 Lectures

Different lecturer in charges so some subjects are either taught different, or different hw/exams especially FINS1613 where the LIC in semester 2 is utter destructive in comparison to semester 1.

What they mean by equations 1 is the circle identity of secx and tanx, and the derivative of tanx and secx.

Question about the maths involved in Actuarial Studies

Although 3U is sufficient it was very difficult to be comfortable with the content particularly 1151 and 1251 (I was actually never comfortable with it just lived on the edged being the only 2U/3U person). However since there are no more compulsory MATH units for actuarial studies after the...

    Thoughts on the MATH1151 exam

Sneaky options question though like i'm sure some people wouldn't know that payoff is when X is less than 60. I'm sure those ones who understood it got P(Z<3.16) which is actually close to 1.

Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016 Peter Andersen's slides saved me highly recommend having a look at that as well as the older lecture slides since i've heard this year's slides made by your lecturer in charge ain't as comprehensive as what it should be.

    FINS1612 or FINS1613 Sem 1?

He scaled it by 2 marks for the second quiz this semester to a credit average, he must have had a bad mood last yr.

    FINS1612 or FINS1613 Sem 1?

Misleading information here, he did not scale to that extent and i dont think any lecturer in charge does it tbh unless its an advanced course.

Re: UNSW chit chat thread 2016 My mistake for ECON1102, I was thinking about ECON1202 sorry about that. Not much maths in ECON1102 only equations you have to memorise is all the maths you need along with differentiation. Stats is sorta similar to the situation with FINS1613 even though 1613 is...
