^apparently for unsw coop there are about 2000 applications, for i think over 100 placements? but only around 8 for business courses whereas big 4 get around 500 applications, i think and take on around 50ish

yeh i saw that as well, much better than cadetship so i called them up, and its actually not for school leavers rather kpmg said it may be in place for next year's 1st yr uni students otherwise ppl would have applied for the scholarship rather than cadetship

thats phenomenal :eek: for job security i think no doubt take a cadetship with big 4, because you have to work for them after your degree for a set period of time but bacc is more flexible, by the end you would have a better idea of the firms which you want to work for and make a better...

if you feel hard done by there shouldnt be a problem with raising it with your teacher, they'll prob take that to whoever marked it if they think its appropriate i do it sometimes, especially in english and maths - where you can scab marks for working even if you have the wrong answer.
