I thought management is kinda hard in terms of getting high wam. Don't do it if you have no interest in it, otherwise it's rather a pain.
Actually Financial economics is quite awesome, really no big differences between business economics but it specify the courses you need to do for you whereas...
I am doing astronomy this semester and it is relatively easy if you compare it to those standard courses you have to do for your degree. But it does have lots of assessment(one of them is that you have to participate and contribute in the group discussion, which I found very time consuming) Rest...
USYD doesn't offer acturial studies course so the only option would be UNSW if you don't consider Macquarie as a option. In terms of teaching quality and job prospect, personally I would say yes UNSW is probably better than USYD in business related degrees.
However there really isn't much...
I'm guessing that not many BCOM people taking economic as their major, probably it's relatively hard and not as useful as finance in my opinion, not 100% sure about this though.
But Finance is indeed most popular major in BCOM, even in BECO large proportion of people take finance as one of...
T1 ECON2101 Microeconomics 2.................73 CR
T1 ECON2206 Introductory Econometrics........75 DN
T1 ECON2209 Business Forecasting.............70 CR

don't you have to at least major in one of the econ major since you're doing actuarial/econ?
Not many people majoring econ and accounting in the same time as these two majors differ a lot. If you have to major in econ then I would recommend to take finance as well.

ECON 1203 became extremely hard last semester and seems like they retain the difficulty for this semester. But don't worry too much, I did really poorly for my first exam, assignment and final and I still managed to pass the course because too many people just did too poorly so they had to...
I took ECON1203 last semester and we didn't have the mid-exam. (we had a assignment and a small quiz if i recall it correctly)
Last semester ECON1203 was just disaster because simply everything on the quiz and exam was just bloody hard. You would know what i meant when you have a look at last...
My apology for the misreading, I thought he's doing B Commerce/Science
Well in this case transfer is required but on UNSW page it says minimum of 36 UOC is required for Internal program transfer and you only get 24UOC for a semester. So you probably have to apply through UAC in the mid-year...
I think it's not that hard because technically you are just dropping a degree to do single. So it's not really a transfer.
Actually I just found someone who asked exactly the same question not long ago, and apparently you can just drop the science degree without transferring...
Personally I would choose UNSW over Usyd under same condition. But if Usyd offers you scholarship and is closer for you to travel there, then I would choose Usyd without any hesitation.
seriously I'm not lying. I have a friend in qut who failed like 6 coures in first year and a friend doing commerce in UQ and he just failed like 4 courses last year (yeah just like you people i am also curious on how they managed to fail these many subjects and get away with nothing) I believe...
