If I may make a point, some of the science/engineering kids seem weirdly jealous of law students. When you're truly confident with the worth of your field I don't think you have the urge to say things like "law is pointless" and "law is for the morally deprived". Seriously, some people have...
Does anyone know anything about this? Are they any good?
It's bloody pricey - you could easily spend hundreds of dollars with them. Worth it?

Ooohhh, and maybe at the end you find out that the utopia is a dystopia because happiness must be imposed on citizens and that the dystopia is a utopia because at least the citizens are free. The underlying message could be something about how one man's utopia is another man's dystopia (or...
It's to avoid the grueling process of coming back on this site and realising that I didn't achieve my aim. (If it's not written down I can convince myself that I never aimed that high to begin with.)
ps. Yes, I am crazy.
These are easy questions, but I can't get the same answer as the textbook (either I'm retarded or the textbook is):
1. In 1976, 500 students entere for a particular examination. This number increased each year by 20% of the number who had entered in the previous year. Calculate the number who...
However, having an outlier may negatively affect those who come in the next couple of spots i.e. 2nd to 4th maybe. But I guess that's not your problem.
That's not how they choose the interviews. Interviews are chosen on the basis of ATAR and UMAT (additional criteria for ATSI applicants and rural applicants).
In Area of Study, you're not studying the text itself, you're studying a concept. Many students fail to understand this and often try to tell the marker what the text is about, often worried that if they don't the marker will not understand. However, it is irrelevant whether or not the maker...
Um... I'm confused. This is a creative writing piece right? I didn't know we needed some incredibly 'literary' concept behind it. I mean my story has concepts but they do not sound like something from an HSC English rubric. Does our creative have to be 'literature about literature'?
No. Your best two units of English MUST count towards your ATAR. The remaining units of English become like any other subject in that they may or may not be counted. So English Advanced, Ext1 and Ext2 may all be counted at the same time.
I have really small writing, so it's more like 4-5 pages for me. Should I make my writing bigger so the essay looks longer? I know I shouldn't HAVE to, but some dumb teacher out there might just assume the essay is short.
1. Prostitution (exploiting your own body is immoral)
2. Adultery (meh)
3. Illegal drugs (some are because they show a blatant lack of respect for one's own body. Pot is okay though, I mean every now and then.)
4. Incest (really gross, but I don't think immoral)
5. Bestiality (crossed the line)...
