Yes, they still allign English Ext. 2 with internal and external, and many kids winge about it every year. However, around 50% of your internal should be a draft of the major work and reflection statement anyway - so the absolute inept writers (yet try-hards when it comes to research) will not...
I can't wait to write my major work. I'm doing a short story - an erotic history of European settlement in Australia... it's all to do with the sexual exploration of the unknown. My mentor loves it!
People lie about their beliefs to get into power. I highly doubt that there have been few atheists amongst our prime ministers - in fact in such a highly educated group of people, I'd say the majority of them were atheists who did a wonderful job in concealing their beliefs from the everyday...
Okay... it sucks that you were allowed to pick up biology at the end of the preliminary and my crappy-povo-rural school wouldn't let me pick up chemistry half-way through the preliminary course!
Honestly just relax. If you must do something you can:
- read/view your English prescribed texts
- read into any of your humainites subjects e.g. read about the frontline or the rise of the Third Reich for Modern History
- briefly read over any study guides for math or science
- research...
At my school, going to the State Library is an excursion for extension students because our local library only supplies books to the elderly and preschoolers. Rural schools suck! ... But I don't want any 'extra' ATAR bonuts or other special considerations I mean I'm perfectly capable of getting...
Obviously, yes! Remember the HSC is 50% internal and 50% external. Go well enough in your external exams and there is no reason why you can't get into the 80's or 90's.
I would strongly disagree. She definitely possesses a timeless quality in her face... and I think celebrities are generally quite ugly. It's a serious case of overgrooming of which we are told to percieve it as beauty.
Compare the following:
In conclusion, celebrities try too hard...
I think it would be fantastic if 16 year olds voted and the gov. implemented a more rigorous approach to learning about politics through yrs 7-10. We would be better informed of politics from a younger age. Although this question seems like a trivial matter, it is actually very important in...
I did general maths and no science and now I'm doing Aeronautical Engineering (Space).
No, I'm totally kidding!
I think it's cool/weird when poeple do things like:
Arts/Medicine or Science/ Law,
which would you rather do?
Re: What UAI&Course are you aiming for?
Me too. Or maybe:
Veterinary science
Dentistry
B Science at USYD
B Science (Molecular biology and Genetics) at USYD
B Commerce (liberal studies) - major in economics and mathematics.
B Law/ B Economics at USYD
etc, etc
Oh! and I want to...
How do these subjects look in terms of work load, scaling, difficulty, etc?
Has anyone done any subjects similar to these?:
English Advanced
English Extension 1
English Extension 2
Mathematics
Economics
Modern History
History Extension
Studies of Religion I
Thankyou.
I made the same mistake in not choosing Extension Math. My Yr. 10 teacher recommended me for general and now I'm beating even the kids who are doing Extension 2 Math next year... so clearly he was wrong (the idiot:jedi:)
Uhhh.... I intensely concur!
I'm not that fussed about scaling but just out of interest, how do my babies scale?
4U English
Mathematics
Economics
Modern History
History Extension
Studies of Religion I
Do I focus on the lower scaling subjects and if so, which ones are they?
