Mainly 'I had been hungry' and 'this is my letter', but a bit of poem 67 too... now I'm a bit worried 'cos I can't remember it's name :o but I used numbers to describe them anyway and I only used it once.. Plus we never have to think about it ever again!!
Re: Did you choose the High School you now attend or did your Parents force it on you
I was enrolled in two high schools as soon as I was born ;) long waiting list.
So I guess that counts as having to choose from my parents' selections... but at the time I wasn't thinking 'ughhh I don't wanna...
I reckon that if you have an interview, they would have gotten your statement - not sure if they can give you an interview without it
Errrr I wasn't sure about the preference thing.. I just did it in case, but I don't think you have to - all I know is that past my third preference, I'm not...
Ahh this thread is mocking me :mad1:
Mine is more like:
Wk1: eng paper 1/2
Wk2: math 2u, bio, eng ext
Wk3: modern
THEN NINE DAYS UNTIL GEO

awww man I WISH I could spin my pens... I've tried a couple times during class by watching other people but my pens always end up on the floor and then I get weird looks
But yeah, instead they just get chewed. YUMMY!!
My preferences are:
1. Women's
2. John's
3. Wesley
and after that I just put random numbers in because I'm not so keen on the others:p
I sent in my application about 3 weeks ago and hadn't heard back so I emailed them in friday and apparently my 2nd referee report had only just arrived...
I want to do BA (Media and Comm) but the ATAR is insaaaaanely high...
So i may do B Sociolegal studies, which is just BA with a bit of law-type stuff
:uhhuh: I'm so excited for next year!!!
I'm hoping to go to college at USYD ... fingers crossed!
My parents said that if i dont have a gap year they will pay for my first year of college, which means i still gotta pay the fees for my degree, but it's better than nothing!!!:uhhuh:
I definitely work better when I'm at the library as opposed to being at home.
In the library, I can't keep logging on to this site :p
But I have to make a serious effort to not follow my friends to the school lib because i know I won't get ANYTHING done then...
Chess is actually considered cool at my school, and I reckon it's because in the past, our chess captains have been really funny and they promote it really well by making eveyone laugh :)
Writing out essay plans, including all the statistics/case studies etc you are going to use is always good. Also, do lots of practice skill questions.
And I find mind maps really helpful, they show you lots of good connections etc and lay everything out clearly :)
I was reading some tips on the USYD website and they said you should definitely use full sentences, so they can get a better idea of who you really are, rather than just having to read lists of achievements, which can get a bit boring :)
