No you do not need to be able to derive either cot, sec or cosec - sec squared, sin cos and tan, yes. If they wanted you to derive any of those reciprocals, they would have a "Show that cot [whatever] = [whatever]" and then "derive cot [whatever]" Hope this helps - if I am mistaken, someone...

I just stated that my interpretation did not support this view as much as it supported the view that Ondaatje's novel reinforced the significance of pursuing ambitions and hard work. I then talked about a Marxist reading and historical reading, but it still sucked. :( Oh well it's all over now
Don't worry, I didn't get any email of confirmation from UNSW to inform me that they had received my application - chances are you won't get one either - the next email you should get from them will be telling you whether or not they have offered you an interview ;)

I'm not so sure about what your ATAR might be - 83.50?
But generally, to get an ATAR of 90+ you need to be in the top 10 -15 positions in each of your subjects, however scaling and such makes a difference - that's just what I've been told anyway, because I need an ATAR of 90 or above as well...
Fair enough - $18 for half an hour is what Hothouse Music up the road charge, and they're professionals - I was only a high school student with Grade 5 AMEB, so I thought I should charge less.
It was fun while it lasted - had to stop to concentrate on study grrrrrrr........ :(
