Well 1, becuase i think there's a very very very high chance my UAI is going to be lower than 93 and doing MX1 next year would almost definatly push it up. 2, I need maths for the course i want to do next year. and 3, something productive to do in my gap year?

Definatly! I can remember being about 11 or 12, and one of my aunties finished the HSC and got a UAI of 89.90. I remmeber thinking "geez.. she must of slacked off.. didnt even get into the 90s..." i was absolutly sure that i would get a UAI of 99-100. LOL.
