In history Hamish does not take the roll so you dont HAVE to go to class. However I would advise you dont miss class as attendence will help you in exams more than you realise. People tend to stream into class for about 5 mins after it starts ... sometimes even 15 mins after ... its no big...

Lundy, What is the smallest class size for 2nd year history? The slavery and freedom subject only has 9 people enrolled so i was not sure that if it would be cancelled or not if it doesnt pick up. Im also worried one of my tuts for another class may be cancelled as there is not enough people...

You will most likely get over raving while you are at uni and then you will be happy to get away from it heh. Dont go on first impressions about people .. sometimes people will be more fun than they look.

Ok as far as i know arts wont let you major in psyc anymore but you can have it as a minor. However this will not allow you to be a psychologist (sp?)... Or you could do a science/arts degree. Check this out though as i am not 100% sure.

Hey Lundy is second year much harder than first? Or do they just expect longer essays. I have heard mixed reports. My essays are always at least a 1000 over anyway so hopefully it will just be an extended word limit ... doubt that thats the case though heh

heh yeh. I am pulling my hair out to cope with essays and exams while they go off to practice dance routines. I dont know how they do it!

Yeh i did two essays and put the same amount of effort into both (quite a bit of effort) and i got 60% on one and 85% on the other. Im sure there where reasons for the marks but i failed to see much of a difference between the essays personally. It is a gamble. I dont think many people fail Arts...

Sometimes the first day can be a bit daunting. Some people dont seem to want to interact. If you come across people who brush you off.. dont stress as there will be friendly people its just a matter of finding them. Some classes are great while other classes are less social. Tutorials in week 2...
