    I was under the impression that it was a requirement to give 3 hours notice if cutting a shift - if less they are required to pay you for the shift. That's the union ruling here in QLD, not sure about where you are. Pyro

    we used to do a 15/5/close/5 past call (if necessary) or just a 15/10/5/closed/5 past call. Now our area requires we don't do calls :(

    At our store our lights are on till about 10 when the store is closed (closes at 9 though), Nightfillers often reset the inside lights to stay on till they are gone, the outside logo/carpark lights turn off and there is always enough light on to see where you are going inside the store...

    RTC used to be in the operators menu though, and they wouldnt completely change the privileges system just for RTC. Hence maybe when it was an operator thing, used to be a level 2 priv? Maybe was the same deal with Quantities?

    Here's something cool, I was doing the CUP's for a fair bit when it was being done for the whole store, I was using an RF gun to request tickets, and back office to print! Today I used back office for it all (had to print some Meat Dept Specials etc.), I'm finally getting a grasp of back office...

    We got our workstations updated a few months ago, not much seemed to be wrong apart from them being slow. Negatives reports are done in a minute instead of 3 though :D

    1. We don't even have the vest at our store 2. It is determined that supervisors are put on register 10 (Closest express register to the service desk) 3. If the supervisors don't have anything to do, or there are people to be served, then people get served, no questions asked. Good stuff!
