The short answer to this is No. Johns is the best college. There are various reasons for this including Johns' sporting, academic, arts, and social success. Having said this, Bruce is a decent college, they do ok in sport, and the arts and most ppl ive met there are pretty cool.

1st years: you have been accepted into your degree, u have yet to enrol in your subjects for the year. Enrolment is done online through ISIS, which can be found off a link on the ANU website. U new guys cant enrol in your subjects because to do this u need a uni ID, and password which i assume u...

like all unis, ANU does have some stuff that it can do better... i agree that they could focus more on undergrad stuff (though as im undergrad this is prob just my bias coming out)... also, some sort of better student council (or whatever they're called) system... does anyone actually vote at...

the clear majority of ppl in college (in johns anyway) do not have TVs. Some do. the reception, as far as i know is all good... Personally, at uni, TV isnt a big part of my life excepting major sporting events.... u just spend time doing other stuff, besides if there is a show that u really...

Hahahaaha... mate, this is college ur talking about, i know at johns all they give u is a bed, cupboards, shelving, sink, desk and a light. If u want a TV u gotta bring it urself.... though most, if not all, colleges have big ass TVs in their common room type things.

The thing is, the marks u get at school and the marks u get at uni will most likely be different. if ur used to getting 90s at school be prepared to get 70s and 80s... i know it sounds low, but u cant really compare it. u will have to work harder to get a 90 at uni than u did to get a 90 at...

With your 2nd and 3rd qs, i can only really talk about my experience at johns..... Im not sure that the ANU as such lets u know which college ur in, i think u'll be hearing directly from the college they should send u out a letter saying if ur accepted, i cant really remember when that will...

hmm maybe, though i really have no problem with partying with ppl only 1year younger than me, anyways a ton of 2nd years (from johns anyway) will be back.... I actually think in some ways O week 2nd time around will be better... u know ur way around, know lots of ppl, know the good places to...

Ah O week.... such an invaluable contribution to uni life. O week 07 is gonna be damn awesome, big parties like last year but we'll actually know ppl, as well as have all the nervous 1st years to have fun with lol. Im that psyched for it.... I wonder if they're gonna have fantasy island...
