Ahaha- mine are all over. Got burnt in Adv. (80) and Art (90) but did well in EE1 (90) and Modern (98) And got 65 in IPT Trial (Accel.)- how that works out to 'a band 5' in my teacher's words I don't know.

Hey all! Just writing some flashcards today for the beginner's prescribed kanji (100 or so) and wondering- how much of an impression do you make correctly using more advanced kanji in the writing sections? I'm learning more mainly to save on space (and I'm proficient with the syllabus kanji)...

I think JLPT 2 is a fair bit higher than HSC Extension, but anyone correct me... I'm not sure you could get that far in 4 months...if the beginner's course of 200 hours is equivalent to JLPT 4 (wikipedia says for l4 it's 150~ hours), then I think JLPT 2 would be kind of impossible for 4 months-...

I love this book! Well, wouldn't it be postmodernist because of the extremely heavy intertextual references and the way it messes around with the late 20C history, Crimean War etc? I haven't studied postmodernism- grain of salt please =D Hope you get writing.
