Kanye West - Touch The Sky Tour

Olivia Newton-John and Michael Buble - there's nothing wrong with that, but let's draw the line at Kanye West? You're a bit of a drongo, aren't you? Also I've never liked the Opera House much as a venue. It looks good, but when you're in there, it's not so good. I may go to this. Depends...

Watched this today and thought it excellent. I agree with ICD on Bana's initial reaction upon hearing his child's voice on the phone - not the best acting I have ever witnessed. That and the sex scene were the only two parts of the film which I had any major problem with. That was far too over...

icecreamdisco presents: THE YEAR IN FILM

And the Hollywood historical epic isn't? American films are almost always dubbed for their releases in foreign countries. Was Schindler's List an exception to this, with Spielberg demanding it be shown in English? But that's how most American films are done, with Passion of the Christ...

    Favourite Movies.

Oh dear. I suppose of the Original Trilogy I'd have to pick Return of the Jedi, though really that's like choosing between my children (though clearly I like some of my children more than others). Of all of them, easily The Phantom Menace (though I'm not really a fan of any of the new three).

Old Folks Still As Good As Ever

Which singers/bands/whatever are releasing stuff still as good as what they were doing in their heyday of the 60s/70s (80s, too, if you think it counts). Most have long ago turned to mediocrity, but the following have all made kick-arse albums this decade: Bob Dylan Brian Wilson Loretta...

    Favourite Movies.

I was the same, back when I was a wee lad - Return of the Jedi was my favourite of the three by far. As I've grown older it's slowly become my least favourite (though that still means it's one of my favourite movies of all time).

    Downloading Music...Your thoughts?

Generally if I download something and keep a copy of it I intend to buy it later. It's a good thing if you want to see the quality of something without sharking out some gross sum of money to hear it. But generally, if an artist does something I appreciate, I figure I should pay them for...

    The Official U2 Thread!!!

No way, Jose. War is their greatest album. I think even a U2 hater would like (or tolerate, maybe) War.
