    rounding off

when rounding off..specifically for pH values and concentration of H3O+, do we stick with what conquering chem says.. ie.. decimal places of pH will equate to the number of sig.figs in the conc. ?? is this what bos wants/

    shipwrecks...rate of corrosion

when re-telling your experiment about rates of corrosion...when measuing, we normally go weigh it before n after etc...but what is it that we are weighing..what is the supposed mass lost? Fe(s) -> Fe2+ + 2e- everything should still be in that test tube??

    motors and back emf

qutoe from a book "an a.c. motor continuously produces a back-emf and so limits itself without the need for a series transistor" meaning a dc motor would need one but then for both ac and dc motors, the current enters the coil as AC (in ac its just via slip rings and for dc its via split ring...

    successone motors n generators

for q22b... as you reduce the mag field..isnt that like pulling a north pole away from the bottom (ie. theres a north pole on hte other side of that loop and your pullin it away) so that means by Mr. Lenz that a south pole will be induced on the under-side of hte loop..so that means if you look...

    transistors?

i believe thats quite important..isnt that what einstein did in his main investigation into the photoelectric effect, where he discovered owrk function and the formula... E = % + KE nb: % is work function

    Hsc 2003

u know that grip rule where the thumb points in direction of current and you curl your fingers and they show direction of hte magnetic field... so there is a mag field that goes into the page inside the loop... if u dont know the right hand push rule, then u can use fleming's left hand...

    Hsc 2003

its similar to ampere's law, not hte actual formula..but the direction of forces and all that ie. same direction current will attract and diff direction current will repel hope this helps nb: this is jsut add on info..ignore this and read my next post if htis confuses u more

    Hsc 2003

current will flow clockwise and you know how a mag field exists around a current carrying conductor...same goes for here if u look at the first curve thing (bottom left hand side of hte loop) there will be a mag field that goes into the page on the inside of loop then using hte right hand...

No sequence & series >_> maybe because of 2u?

wasnt this a series and sequences thread... anyway..series and sequences hasnt been asked in the 3u paper in donkey years..so i guess they wouldn't start now..would they
