    Inverse Cosine Function

Ok, so I think the simplified version for sinx=0 is x=pi/2 +2kpi, is that correct?

    Inverse Cosine Function

Oh, ok. Yeah I do, I just didn't think of it like that, I was just substituting it into the formula (I'll have to think more carefully next time). For the cosx=1, is it 2*k*pi from the formula?

    Inverse Cosine Function

Hi, Are the general solutions for cos(x) = cos(a), x = 2*pi*k +/- a (where k is an integer)? If so, I was trying to find the general solution to cosx = 0, I thought it would be 2*pi*k +/- pi/2, however there solution was pi/2 + k*pi. How did they get there solution? Thanks

    Harder 3U Textbook?

Hi, I was curious if there is any textbooks (or textbook like resources) devoted solely to harder 3U? I'm aware that textbooks like Terry Lee, Fitzpatrick and Arnold have harder 3U sections, but I was curious if there was any more extensive resources (more/harder questions, more theory etc.)...

    Inverse trig differentiation

I was always under the belief that it was not required, especially as it is given to you on the formula sheet. I thought (with regards to its use and no other questions that explicitly requires a derivation), that it could be used just as the derivate of sinx is cosx.
