    Umat advice!!

believe in urself and u shall succeed!!! seriously, its probably too late to do anything now. just stay relaxed, thats the best advice. i know many smart people scored very poorly because they were under a lot of pressure and average people who scored 95+ because they did it for "fun".

Thousands support CSU medical school plans

it does make it more likely that the students will want to stay rural. but to be honest the whole selecting city folk with an interest in rural health is completely bullshit. its not hard to do some research and put on an act in the interview. e.g. u can compare it to a similar university such...

Thousands support CSU medical school plans

a flood of medical graduates doesnt mean there will be more doctors since its capped by the number of training positions. it will just compound the problem we have now/will have very soon where we have a whole heap of unqualified junior doctors who cant actually practice independently. also...

    UWS Medicine Help plz

good work ethic and communication skills are much more important than intelligence. i have seen many intelligent people (high 99ers) who fail or do poorly and get held back a year.

    Subjects for Diagnostic Radiography!

get into medicine and apply for a training program in radiology after you finish your degree. its A LOT tougher than radiography (4 years) as it takes over 10 years to become a fully accredited radiologist.

    Subjects for Diagnostic Radiography!

diagnostic radiography is a massive misnomer. the people who interpret scans and "diagnose" are actually radiologists which requires a medical degree. as a radiographer, your main job is to operate the machines and make sure that the pictures which come out are easily readable. not to mention...

UMAT exam toilet break and how to avoid

Just go before the exam and drink water only. If you need, go during section 2 cuz that's the section you will struggle with least in terms of time.

    Combined med usyd.

it will certainly boost your chances, but there are much better options for a similar amount of work. e.g. you can complete a gen surg training program in 4 years which counts for 10x as much as a PhD when you apply to the RACS for a more specialised surgical field.

    Combined med usyd.

a B MedSc is really quite useless in most cases. a lot of unis offer it as an optional 1 year, but a bachelors degree in any field is easily trumped by your MBBS. the only real degree of worth is a PhD which you should only do after specialising. also, one additional year of medical practice is...
