Yeah, I've been so busy these days, just had to 'disappear' for a while. Well I dont disappear completely I still roam the forums, just I don't talk XD
I sadly did not top 3u but unexpectedly, I topped eco and jap?! O_O
Good actually, what bout you?
The HSC stress is starting the creep onto me... =\ Since I do a language, my first exam is in August!!!!!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOO! T_T
Recently I am considering studying engineering in uni but my problem is I haven't done any physics in yr 11/12. I have not decided on what kind of engineering I'd want to head into but physics is assumed knowledge for basically all the engineering courses. I do take biology and 3u maths, not...
You should be aware that the Bachelor of Pharmacy at USyd no longer requires the STAT and only needs a minimum ATAR of 85. If I were you, I'd be trying to refund my money for the STAT test which is now useless.

Aw I'm so jealous.... My parents wouldn't allow me coz of the 'radiation' there. To hell with that, a few days of radiation wouldn't be enough to kill you....
If you're into anime/manga/technology/akb48, Akihabara, I've heard, is a must! =)
I think I'd teach my kids Canto first. Our kids would learn English from school and they'll eventually speak English with their friends anyway, so I don't think there's a need for me to teach them English first. Also in a competitive world like this, I think knowing an extra language would help...
The applications will be open soon. Your career advisor should be able to provide with more information. I mean our year advisor sends us emails and everything too.
The exam should be at the end of July. I heard it's on the 25th of July... So I guess you still have time to prepare and there's...
Enjoy your last year of freedom! And you may want to decide whether you still want to do med after going to those uni open days and stuff. Have you by any chance done some research on this course and what it involves?
Well I did flip through a few blogs of some real life doctors and they too expressed that doctors 'knew more' than nurses. I can't determine the reliability of the quote because, obviously, I've never been a doctor or a nurse but assuming the quote was true, wouldn't knowing more = to being able...
The nurses... are scary!! >.< Nothing like in dramas...
I have a friend who does nursing for her HSC and lol, she's disillusioned now. Being perved on by patients, etc. And actually the nurse does more work than the doctor imo.
Anyway when did I say that a doctor is more 'important'? I didn't...
="= Just wondering if you've actually begun working in a hospital yet.... Just looking at the nurses at St George Private Hospital tells me I definitely do not want to be one of them. What becoming a nurse involves I do somewhat have an idea.
And if both do an equal amount, mind telling me why...
A nurse would be no problem but I feel that a doctor is able to do more for the patient than the nurse... So if it's within my ability to study med, then of course I would want to become a doctor more than a nurse.
Did you mean something else there? The sentence sounds awkward....
Anywho, it is my fault for not making it clear, allow me to rephrase: "not all patients will survive, obviously some will die and depending on which ward, some will have more than others"
Yes, while it is true that saving people's lives sounds like a good reason to become a doctor but come on let's face it, not all of the patients will survive and depending on which part of the hospital you're in, most of them probably won't live. The doctor is probably one of the few last people...
