Considering dropping to 10 units. Pros/Cons

Most notes say it was from 2009 - 2012. But my friend says it's extended to 2014 until the Australian syllabus comes in. Wondering if I'm able to sell my books at the end of the year?

Failing 2U Math. Really Bored in PDH (forced into the subject) and assessments have heaps of writing. Doing very well in other subjects. What to do? (I've got 12 units at the moment) Drop to General Maths? Drop Maths entirely? Just drop PDH? Thoughts and comments, please? Thank You
