On holidays I usually go to bed around 1am (sometimes as late as 3 though) and wake up around 9 or 10. On school days I go to bed at 10 or 11 and wake up at 7:30. I've never actually stayed up the whole night before, the one time I got close to it I fell asleep at 5am ;_;

If it actually passed (although I highly doubt it will, plus I was told many of the key players are dropping support) then the world will be thrown into complete chaos. People won't take it lying down.

Mine has a whole bunch of random crap in it. But it's organised random crap. So the first 20-odd pages are research and the like, then I moved onto ideas/plotting/etc, then looking into texts that relate to my major work and doing some notes on them...but I still have a long way to go >.< And...

+1 to vocalising them. I find that more than ANYTHING, explaining the notes to myself helps to secure them in my memory and also helps me to understand them better. But more on topic, I type mine, and will probably hand-write very short summaries as HSC study.

I too find listening to music incredibly distracting. I also approve of listening to movie soundtracks/instrumentals though, if you wanna listen to anything. Apparently some binaural beats help with studying as well. I haven't tried that though.

I feel like I'm the same boat, OP. Screwed up physics prac (first assessment), ranked about 13/17 =/ Not happy at all. Also fucked maths up with some VERY stupid mistakes - all my mistakes consisted of not rounding the number properly. The maths was worth like 5% but the physics was worth...

I personally find it hard (mainly just the calculations >.<), but only because I don't really enjoy it. There is a vast majority of my class who loves physics and therefore put in the time and effort it requires. If you're interested in the subject, you should definitely pick it, it does have...

Haha, I eventually gave up playing in darkness and turned all the lights on but still couldn't finish it. How long did it take you to finish it? I'm probably not even half way, now that I think about it.

As others have said, definitely Amnesia: The Dark Descent...playing that shit in the dark with the lights out and surround-sound headphones is absolute hell. I haven't been able to finish it. I probably should though...*shivers*

Me, and for the journal just write whatever comes into your head. It doesn't matter how long or short it is. Research, ideas, random quotes, inspiration - anything. And remember to date it all!
