Thanks for ur encourage. I have already decided to major in biochem, and really have no extra space to do too many chem courses after I got the chance to do a research project courses (BABS3306 or sth...) in stage 2...And probably we will have the same supervisor then.:)

From the information I got from Dr.Jason Harper...in the session 2, for advanced science I need to do at leat two research courses (CHEM3101 and CHEM3201) in session 2...no chem coursework courses in session 2... Yes, people can do CHEM3**** in stage 2.. I did chem2**** in stage 1 and got...

I can, but that means I can't major or minor in chem...I am still thinking now...

Yes, but sometimes, it is hard... Like for biochemistry major, in session 1 third yr, u need to do at least two biochem courses, but all chem third yr's core courses r also in s1...so u must choose one major from them...(UNSW) In the second year, u can definetly do both major's courses...

Not really, in UNSW for Advanced science, u can only do one major... I try to combine Chemistry and Biochemistry, but it is not allowed... I duno the other unis...

I will tell u the truth, even in Harvard or Princeton, u will find lots of Chinese students...and lots of Chinese professors... Try to keep good relationship with them... But the problem is if u will have chance to get into such top unis...

I think it depends on ur first yr's WAM...If it is high enough... But I duno too much...u can email to science student office or go there directly... They will be on work after 04/01/09...Hmm

the general education has been changed... u can do two mainstream courses as 12UOC general edu from other faculties...

Math is pretty cool, but really hard...anyway, u must be very smart~:)

I think it depends on if u r really interested in science research, and if u have enough time and determination to finish ur PHD degree... Otherwise commerce is really a shortcut for job and money...but be careful with the economic crisis~~~~:read:

I heard the salary in Canberra is relatively high compared with other cities... But I am more interested if threre r any research institutes in Canberra~

Bios...it is reallly hard to fail....and really difficult to get HD,,,

CalTech....it has the highest Nobel Prize density...how can u say it is a lower-class uni? But it is pretty small, the student number is just around 900.... Anyway, CalTech is totally my dream~:headbang:

Yeah~I heard that, probably because ANU is a strict research uni~ But I got 95+ for some courses, doesn't mean it is easy to get high mark in UNSW...It is because I am the top one or top two in the whole 500 or 600 students...
