    Best university for politics/law

There's your problem :P As far as Sydney unis go, I'd say USyd for anything Arts/Law, definitely.

    What's the workload at uni?

Workload is totally dependent on the subject. I'm doing Arts/Science, and I've done courses where I've only had to do three assignments with no exams for the entire semester, right up to nine assignments and two exams (which drove me insane). Usually you can find all this out before you enrol in...

    Holidays in uni?

Mid-semester breaks aren't always true holidays - they can and do set assignments over them, so be prepared to work throughout those couple of weeks.

Can you do 4 majors and still lead an active life?

Um... I still do four courses per semester, so it's no different really... I just don't do much by way of electives outside my faculty though.

what should I do at ANU, B commerce (majoring in finance) or B finance?

I recall you saying on an earlier thread that it was the very last time you were going to post on this forum...

:( I have difficulties of choosing my degree....

You haven't told us what you actually want to do, or what you're good at besides music...

    Ursula Hall

    1) I can't cook :p Rules out B&G and Fenner. 2) I'm a fairly sensible person. Rules out Johns. 3) I don't do Arts/Law. Rules out Burgmann. That leaves Bruce and Ursies. Ursies is smaller (both in terms of number of residents and the number of buildings we have) and it seemed quite a nice place...

    Faculty of Asia-Pacific?

Xunlyn, pretty sure I've Facebook-stalked you recently... you didn't happen to lose $2 in the Fenner Hall vending machine recently? :p

Can you do 4 majors and still lead an active life?

I'm doing four majors. Well, two majors and a double major, but I could make that four single majors if I wanted to.

    UAC options!!

I remember doing this - all in the knowledge that I would almost definitely make the cutoff for my #1 preference, and ended up not getting enough for my #2 :p

Is it illegal to hide your overqualification???

Of course you can hide it, there's no obligation to tell them (unless of course they specifically ask you to declare everything). However, then you've got about three years of your life you may have to account for...

    Special provisions

You can refuse a scribe and take extra time instead - I was approved for a scribe, but didn't use it. All special provisions are voluntary and you can refuse to take them for as many or as few exams as you wish (although you need to talk to the Presiding Officer about any practical arrangements...

is there a point in masters degree?

If I do postgrad study I'm hoping I'll just jump from Hons 1 into a PhD, no need for this Masters business... Masters do have their uses though. Doesn't always make you overqualified, and I imagine a lot of people do them whilst also working in any case.

    Ursula Hall

Ursula is awesome (in my completely unbiased opinion), Bruce is moderately awesome, and Johns... uh... just... no. :p Hope to see you here next year! What are you planning to study?

    UAC Statement of Service

I'm pretty sure it's on the application form for non-school leaver stuff. Like people who are applying a few years after they finish school, or applying for postgrad places where employment history definitely has an impact.

    UAC Statement of Service

I don't actually remember that being asked... although then again I hadn't had a job so if it did ask I said no...

Is my schools new rule actually allowed?!

I stand corrected then. That's... interesting, given that BOS definitely does calculate marks very precisely on their end (exam papers, moderation, scaling). Leaving it up to the school to decide whether or not to round off causes problems IMO.
