    Homosexuality in Australia

I agree completely, but I still don't understand why some Christians take your view of frowning upon the act, and not the people - yet their actions do not reflect this in the slightest. I can understand if you don't agree with same-sex marriage, yet would you purposefully vote/protest against...

And I'm sure they frown upon the religion (Christianity), and not the people (Christians).

    Assesment Marks vs. Exam Marks

No. To be guaranteed to get the same exam/assessment mark, you need to rank 1st in your subject, and also top your external HSC exam in your cohort (i.e. get the highest mark compared to the rest of your class). If you rank 1st for a subject in your school, you get the top internal (assessment)...

    Homosexuality in Australia

There are plenty of heterosexual couples who aren't able to procreate either due to various reasons. In modern society, it's regressive to believe that only people who are fertile and heterosexual should be afforded the opportunity to have children - when there are opportunities to have children...

    How's my reading list?

You should read some Patrick White. He wrote many of his novels in stream of consciousness prose, and he's the only Australian to ever receive the Nobel Prize in Literature. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_White

    Backpack or satchel/manbag for uni

The people who are going to judge you on what bag you take to university are the real pretentious dickheads. Use whichever bag you want, it doesn't really matter.

Raw Marks and Test Papers in the Mail Today

I think it's because English Advanced comprises of Paper 1 (45 marks) and Paper 2 (60 marks). That's a total of 105 marks. However, the mark for Paper 1 out of /45 is later changed to /40 to make the subject out of /100. So that could have lead to the .45 mark. For example, someone gets 40/45...

I believe if they are between 16 and 18 years old they still need to get court approval.

    use of footnotes

No more than 80 footnotes for the major work (so essentially no more than 4 footnotes per page). I've seen past Young Writers Showcase critical responses go to around 100, but it isn't necessary at all. Also, no more than 15 footnotes for the reflection statement. Personally I only did around...

I'm thinking that UAC actually means in 27 hours time, rather than 3 hours. But technically speaking, midnight on the 6th of January is in 3 hours.

How hard is it to get a Band 6 in Legal Studies?

I got a 95/100 HSC mark for Legal Studies. While it's not impossible to achieve a band 6, it's not easy either. It really depends on how you approach the subject. Personally I did not find Legal Studies easy. But I did find it interesting and not overwhelming at all. Generally you should focus...

    too many international students

Why do international students bother you? It really doesn't matter. As long as they are considerate and have manners, it's not an issue. And that's the same for everyone, regardless if they are international or domestic students.
