Average Length of Business Reports & Essays?

Oh ok cool. Thanks for the advice. Yeah, it's because although I usually get 19s and 20s for my essays, I find they are a bit too long compared to everyone else - that's why I wanted to ask everyone for a rough idea.

Average Length of Business Reports & Essays?

Hey guys, I was wondering, how long on average are your business reports and essays (under exam conditions, like how many exam booklets do you write). I'm having a bit of trouble working out how much is too much and how much is too superficial for a report and essay, and yes I know it's...

    PAL College Cabramatta INSIGHT?

LOL Going to Pal College would feel like going to tutoring Monday to Friday in my opinion. It just doesn't have the feel of a traditional high school. Also since they're not owned by any religious organisations, they'd probably be profit based.

for those doing business, why did you choose it?

To be honest, I chose it because it's easy. My teacher says this all the time, that Business Studies is a relatively easy course, and apparently it's pretty easy to get a Band 6 in. I chose business studies mainly because I thought my other subjects were already high scaling and I wanted a...

    2009 Trial HSC Exams Discussion

For me: 3U & 4U Maths - 40% English - 30% Physics - 30% Business Studies - 30% Studies of Religion - no clue, shows my committment haha Anyway, with the varying difficulties - I'd recommend doing practice trial papers which are similar to your level. Like I've been doing mainly past Catholic...

    Phonon - seriously confused

I've looked at the marking criteria for CSSA and Independent Trial Exams and non of their explanations mention phonons. I've asked my physics teacher and she said in the HSC they'll accept most reasonable explanations since it varies so much in the textbook.

    Freaking Out

Just calm down. Year 10 isn't as hard as some make it out to be. I didn't study in Year 10, still managed to get 3 Band 6s and the rest over 85. If someone was actually committed, they could probably get all Band 6s.

    Accounts receivable turnover ratio

I was taught you need to divide the sales/accounts receivable by 365, because that will actually give you the actual amount of days. I use... Annual Credit Sales ------------------------- = x Accounts Recievable Therefore final answer is 365/x.

    Phonon - seriously confused

From my understanding, as phonons are emitted, they continue to vibrate. However, it is through the interactions of phonons that bind together the electrons allowing for cooper pairs to stay together. I don't even think you need much on phonons. To be honest, the BCS theory is a load of...

    Phonon - seriously confused

I'm a bit confused with this BCS crap as well. The way I explain it (I'm pretty sure I'm correct) is that as one negative charged electron passes by the positive charged ions in the lattice, it distorts. This causes phonons to be emitted from a trough of positive charge around the electron...

    Rate your school facilities

I'm happy with my school's facilities. - Airconditioning, Smart boards and projectors in almost every room, wireless routers in every second room, brand new buildings, pretty decent computer labs, tennis courts, basketball courts, large oval, grandstand, conference room, pretty nice front office.

    Private Schools?

The State Government contributes about 9000 per state school student and contributes about 1500 for a private school student. However, private school students get more federal funding, therefore when it's all added up, a private school gets roughly 6000 in government funding. That's where you...

    Private Schools?

You can't make generalisations. There are good private schools. There are bad private schools. With public schools, schools such as James Ruse or Baulko are good. But then again, you have to think why? They have the state's brightest kids. Same with private schools. Some private schools do...
