    IT faculty is so inconsiderate

I agree with krayzie. The majority of students are full-time students; the number outweighs those who are part-time students and prefer the night classes.

Should be no difference (they might change you 2010 subject rates that have inflation on top of it again). Also, it can be deferred to HECS.

Re: The UTS 'Get Naked and Secks!!' Thread Yeah. I don't think I will be hanging up the moderator boots just yet. This was in the SAU email dated 27 October: "Note: A $250 Late Enrolment Fee will apply to students who enrol in their first 2010 subject AFTER 23 December 2009." Sounds...

Business stratergy or Accounting Transactions and Business Decisions

.. or the banking major I believe. As layzeehbum and rormonor said you need do it if you are planning on doing these majors. ATBD has changed so many times in the last couple of semesters after the departure of Frank. It is like Accounting for Business, but goes into more detail. It is not...

I don't know how you are going to either. I'm lucky that tax was just 2x3hr lectures each week. I couldn't imagine sitting in a lecture hall for 8hrs. I think it will be sessions rather than lectures. You will sit in a small room with around 20 people and will do lectures and tutes. Good...

layzeehbum - CMS is an ok subject. If you remembered back in accounting for business or accounting transactions and business decisions, it is the manufacturing accounting (cookie in the cookie jar analogy by Jon Tyler). It is quite maths based, and very practical. From what I remember, the...

    UTS - Semester 2 2009 Guestimates + Official Results (16 December 2009) thread

The 'thejosiekiller' GUESTIMATE: A guestimate is pretty much a guess/estimate of what you think your final subject marks will be for this semester. The word 'guestimate' was made up by thejosiekiller; who will forever be immortalised in this UTS tradition. So whenever you like, feel...

John. I also had the class tests, group presentation, and final exam. I believe the change in assessments for tax law was due to the change in subject coordinator. Assessments should be similar, if not the same as those given in autumn and spring.

The workload really depends on the subject you are doing. I did taxation law in summer, which was a 2 month, 2 lecture a week program. All assessments were exactly the same as if you did it in autumn or spring. I just found it hard to get into the routine of studying in summer though- everyone...
