    I get the feeling that it's because of the latter. Personally, I've only heard about UoW in regards to it's strengths in education courses and its grad med program.

    Re: Umat Well it is quite a bit of money so only do it if you really have some kind of interest in those courses. Don't do coz your parents tell you to do it like a lot of Asian kids do. I'm doing dental surgery.

    Re: Umat Well do you have interest in Medicine or Optometry at all? If not then don't bother but if you do then you better sign up lest you regret it later. Oh and Adelaide was the only option for me. :( My dream course is not offered in NSW (damn nsw unis! *shakes fist* =p).

    Re: Umat Except for JCU. You also need it for dent and a select few courses such as Pharmacy at Monash, Physio and Optometry in some places.

    Don't you know it has adverse effects on the brain? It especially degenerates your capacity for the English language which is bad because English has to count.

    Re: Links for Austalian Medicine, Dentistry candidates You need an inifinite UAI. ... In other words, it's a grad only course. Hence if you want to do dentistry (which is a great choice ;)), you'll have to go interstate like I did. :) EDIT: Damn Velox and his omnipresence, you beat me too...
