Yeah i think that is ok too... 7-9 techniques is good enough as long as you make sure you answer the question with your techniques. It's fine to have 11 techniques prepared just in case other techniques don't suit the question but 7-9 in the test is good

wait... that would make 11 techniques in 40 mins right? Are you sure that you will be able to write down an indepth analysis for a band 6 mark because 11 techniques seems a strenuous thing to pull off. I imagine you'd only really be able to do that if you actually knew the actual essay question...

my school is quite strict on the word limit.. 10% or else marks are deducted and they said they are even more strict on the word limit for the hsc because they want to see that you have the skill to synthesise the more important information instead of bombarding with everything

I feel exactly the same way... My pracs are pulling me down :(... Go chemistry cause you like it and you are willing to put in the effort... because i doubt you will still be able to pull off HSC biology without putting in any effort like you did with the prelims...

Re: English Texts im not as pro as the rest of these guys are at english but with multiple choice make sure you know what the question is asking and look for the MOST correct answer and when you answer the questions make sure you understand the whole text even if it requires you another 5...
