Legal Studies exam returned.
Raw mark: 69.5/75
Percentage: 93%
Rank: 1st by a big margin :D
Will be getting Maths mark back today hopefully, and possibly Physics.
I had mine all over one week. Strangely though they decided to make it Wed-Wed, well, suppose that gave us a weekend in the middle to study, and it makes us more excited for the last two days of term.
I haven't heard 'assignment' used around my classes for years. At my school we call both types 'assessments' and divide them into 'take-homes' and 'in-class', sometimes.
I'm divided. On the one hand, exams/tests are short and I can get them over and done with. On the other hand, often they're way too short, and I like access to my materials.
Likewise with take-home assessments - access to resources, time to do them are good. However I usually procrastinate...
I only like the creative writing bit. Otherwise, I'd drop it. Would prefer if I could do Maths Extension 4 or Legal Studies Extension or 4U Economics :P
Just did my 3U exam. I'm looking 70-80%. Well, I think I'm beating everyone else - actually, no-one else turned up. One was on holidays, one's accelerated and was doing a Year 10 exam, and the other must be sick or something. Meh.
I suppose it's a non-ohmic resistor, therefore the resistance would change with current.
P1 = 2400W
V1 = 240V
I1 = 10A
V=IR
240=10*R
R = 24 ohms
110 = 24 * I
I = 4.58A
P = VI
P = 110 * 4.58
= 504 W
Actually that's another good source for certain things. With a State Lib Readers Card you can get access to ProQuest and some other good journal databases, which I've used in assignments before.
Wikipedia for a general overview, then specialist online sites usually. Books are nice to cite, but with limited library resources and limited time it can be difficult to find good ones.
33/45 is only 'alright'?! I'd give, well, not quite 'anything', but close, to get marks like that :P
It's strange, because according to my teacher I'm one of the most naturally talented writers in my class, yet I keep on doing really, really badly.
Well, you seem to be doing very well in physics based on those ranks you've posted. From what I hear Senior Science is easier than the specialised sciences, and it could be quite boring. You'd be better off not doing it and spending your time studying 4U Maths and Physics.
