    First-Year IT Camp 2008

Jenny doesn't like me. Also, I didn't think I increased my chances by telling her that I accepted an accounting internship for these holidays after she said alot of work had to be done beforehand.

    UTS Enrolment and HECS HELP

You will have to get your HECS HELP form/eCAF form approved before you are able to enrol into any subjects. I'm not quite sure what date UTS starts ignoring students places because they haven't filled in a HECS/eCAF form, but the census date (31 March 2008) is normally the date in which you have...

    Arghhhh I can't decide, BscIT or Bbusiness/BscIT?

Yes- you would effectively have to do 2 more subjects to complete your degree. Unless you chose a submajor of Business Accounting: http://handbook.uts.edu.au/directory/smj08157.html, in which you would be credited for: 22107 Accounting for Business 6cp but still not be credited for...

    Arghhhh I can't decide, BscIT or Bbusiness/BscIT?

There is something in the system that stops people from doing 24cps of business in one semester (not sure if it will stop you, as you have a reason). What I did was to do 18cps of business and 6cps of IT for 2 semesters.

    Arghhhh I can't decide, BscIT or Bbusiness/BscIT?

    Booyah!

Actually Beege- you still have a chance of getting into BBus/BScIT. Firstly, the cutoff for BBus/BScIT is 85.00 according to http://www.uac.edu.au/pdf/2008_uai_coffs_csp_main.pdf. It is also showing (V), which means there are still vacancies in the course. You are also eligible for HSC...

    Arghhhh I can't decide, BscIT or Bbusiness/BscIT?

Actually it is easier to do BScIT first and then transfer to BBusiness/BScIT than doing BBusiness/BScIT and deciding that Business is not your thing and dropping Business altogether. If you were doing BBusiness/BScIT for a semester, and then transferred back to BScIT, you would lose your 12cps...

    Arghhhh I can't decide, BscIT or Bbusiness/BscIT?

If only marketing interests you- you will not enjoy the first two years of uni in BBus/BScIT. Remember the core subjects of the BBus side include subjects such as- accounting, economics, management, finance, business statistics and business law. From reading your posts in the FIT threads and...
