Re: The UTS 'Secks and Hope you were all ready since exams almost over!' Thread Oh. Forgot to tell you guys and girls. I just started my chartered accounting achiever work experience on Monday. It will go for three weeks, and I don't intend to check BOS while I'm in the workplace. So...

Jim Underwood said something about looking at the marks in your other sub-major subjects as an assessment to grant you entry into the Projects. You'll have to ask about that one though, I'm not sure if they do it or not (I don't think the Project would be a popular choice at all).

    transfer

    That could be the case.

    transfer

Did you ring up the Student Centre, or enquire with Course Directors? You are clearly withdrawing from a combined degree, so I don't see why you are not allowed to internally transfer rather than go through the UAC method.

http://www.handbook.uts.edu.au/subjects/31748.html Looks pretty similar to IMP. Seeing that you did AIT already, you should breeze through POTI. My only concern in IMP was the quality of the teaching, but otherwise is isn't too bad. Projects are only allowed to be taken on merit aren't they?

Re: The UTS 'Secks and Hope you were all ready since exams almost over!' Thread Jasee, are you calling your degree "Bachelor of Science in IT" now? Wonder if I should too.. but technically we're pre-2007 B Computing students.

Re: The UTS 'Secks and Hope you were all ready since exams almost over!' Thread If you wait until your results come out, you'll only have the chance to enrol in the new year. I would enrol right now. Enrolment closes 10pm on Tuesday, 18 December 2007. Summer 2007 results are released on...

Re: The UTS 'Secks and Hope you were all ready since exams almost over!' Thread Correct. You will have to enrol into your subjects and allocate your timetable again. __ I'm finally finished as of today =) Internet Middleware Programming: Some tricky questions, i.e. i think some "none...

Correct. The FIT student centre was changing the old subjects to the new (equivalent) subjects, and this doesn't seem to be a problem anymore. I spoke to Jim Underwood about some of my subjects and we did some E-requests to change some subjects (which weren't changed by the staff)...

    BBus/BScit vs BScit

You can enrol into your majors just before you start them. In your first year of your degree, you would be completing your core subjects (which are compulsory), and it would normally be in your second year that you would choose your major. The core subjects would essentially give you a...

Re: The UTS 'Secks and Hope you were all ready since exams almost over!' Thread I don't think I know her lol. Business lecturers are slow at marking (yes, even when it is all MC and only requires putting the answer sheets in the machine), so putting the exams early up would give them a...

Re: The UTS 'Secks and Hope you were all ready since exams almost over!' Thread Same as me! Also, which subjects have you got credits for? (from your prior learning). CITP, Business Requirements, Prog Fundamentals are all in BBus/BScIT and wouldn't have any trouble going one-to-one...

    BBus/BScit vs BScit

If you are primarily planning to work in the IT industry in the future, I'd chose BScIT over BBus/BScIT. BScIT with the double majors would give you a strong foothold in the IT industry regardless of which of the 2 majors you chose from. But, If you want to have a future in Business, I'd...
