Is it possible to get 95+ for 4U math?

selective and private schools have way harsher trial marking standards so dont worry too much about it. i have a 10 mark difference between mlc and the independent paper

specifically it helped out a lot with geo bcuz theres a year 12 module on ecosystems. but also with food tech and DT there are some dotpoints that relate to sustainability, and earth knowledge helped w that.

also doing earth content helped a bit with other subjects bcuz the content would sometimes overlap, though thats a really specific thing based on the subjects you do.

    2026 HSC CHAT

i had a friend who did both earth and legal. he ended up dropping legal bcuz it was just a ton of content and it was putting stress on him. i think you should choose based on what you have more of an interest in and enjoy, and if you think you can keep up with all the content of it. also i have...

how long a break are you guys going to take after trials

3 hours for me is kind of the equivalent of 1 and a half hours for a normal person bcuz i have fucked up processing speed so it takes me longer to get through and revise the same content. 100% if my brain was normal id be doing 3 hours a day max lol

    2026 HSC CHAT

i stuck to a routine very closely to keep studying consistently. i had a set time i would start studying each day and a set time in which i would finish. i also made sure that i did it every single day (excluding weekends). it gets to the point where its such an ingrained thing that it feels...

how long a break are you guys going to take after trials

i think once i get back into studying after my break i may only do 3 hours a day for a week, 4 for another week then bump up to 5 just so i can catch up on sleep and do things i like, because im honestly kind of worried that some health issues i havent had since yr 9 are flaring up due to stress

    2026 HSC CHAT

it really does depend on the subject and the person. some people take longer to process information whereas others take less time to study the same material. also keep in mind that most people study way less during yr 11. most people who do well study about 3 hours a day (in hsc). once you get...

Private vs Selective (Which do I choose?)

yea in private school its easier to do well as you have more resources than selective, but im saying that if youre motivated and put in effort, you can still do just as well as someone from a private school.

    2026 HSC CHAT

actually i just checked the website and it looks like its different from applying full time. "other educational providers" are able to apply to the school but they have to fill out paperwork as to why they cant provide stuff and have to pay 800 a year. you can ask your school, but i wouldnt get...

no. you need to be enrolled in a public school to do distance education. if youre in catholic you can enroll in something called the online education centre, but they offer less subjects i think and you can only take one subject https://oec.lism.catholic.edu.au/
