I want to do languages too but because I know that i might get bored or sick of just doing a straight language degree i'm doing Arts so that I have the flexibility to do some languages but also some history or philosophy or whatever as well to keep it interesting for me.
I'm a teachers aide in a year 1 class for four mornings a week. Will do for me until my parents open their new business in June. I get to teach devil children how to write their names.
I did the tempest, journeys over land and sea, octopus' garden by the beatles (written by ringo), a kids poem called lines and squares by a.a milne (it had pictures with it) and a national geo article called last days of the iceman that had pictures too.
heaps of people do where the wild things...
Depends on what you mean by 'accidentally misplaces'.
Four scenarios i can think of...
1. You get misadventured to the sky and back and they'll give you an average mark
2. You kick up a huge stink and they give you a nice mark to shut you up
3. They give you the opportunity to do it again...
yes. yes. yes. yes. yes. yes.
depending on what you consider to be very good, i can think of someone who got over 95 without science or ancient or sdd. geo, eco, modern, eng ad, mathematics and legal.
Hey, I got into the same course and live too far away too! But i'm deferring till next year :)
I think you'll find the compulsory courses are the ones listed on the form they sent you that you would've got early this week? THere was 2 there.
They're your compulsory units for your first...
I did accelerated SoRII in year 10/11 and our school now offers that and 3u maths accelerated (but not this year, year 10 are too dumb).
They do year 11 in year 10, year 12 in year 11 to meet the hour requirements. I think that would be a pretty big issue if youre trying to do both years in one...
Art has a major work in year 12.
I would drop that if i was you because that would take a lot of pressure off you next year if you want to keep 13 units next year.
He's raised over a million dollars for drought support and aid for farmers.
And he does heaps of support for them and that.
So i spose it helps raise more drought awareness and support for the farmers.
So he's like the frontman for that.
I did 8 units in year 12 like Evilo and my free periods (all 21 of them) were both the most productive and the most fun times i had in year 12. Because a whole class of us had a free on one of the lines that lot of frees was primarily wasted but the frees that i had where i sat alone and...
I didn't do any actual study for the first 3 terms of my HSC.
Do your homework each night. Occasionally read over your notes.
Then, in the holidays and weeks before your exams start, study your butt off.
Worked for me.
The basic way they add them up is with the weightings. SO if you have an assessment worth 25% and you get 80% for it then your mark is 80/100 x .25
and thats how much out of 25 goes toward your assessment mark.
Your ranking is worked out based on those internal marks.
So if you beat everyone...
I'd be happy to read your essays but lilwhicker1991 is right, thats what your teacher is for. Although sometimes it can help to get another students opinion on your writing style or the techniques you've used.
Make sure you know your texts and know your techniques, whilst also bearing in mind...
I don't really understand why you had exams that early on in the hsc period that count but my advice is theres no point deciding that you've screwed up now and giving up.
You need to look into catching up on the work you missed, especially for science and maths subjects. Just because you didn't...
Re: Heath Ledger, dead.
They've finished filming batman, it comes out this year.
He was filming some other movie at the moment for release next year.
Guess that one gets left on the cutting room floor.
^ Yeah it doesn't answer this thread.
This is an amusing thread recounting the various habits and quotes that our teachers have had/said over the years for the entertainment of others.
